Christchurch Cathedral

Christchurch is located in the heart of Medieval Dublin, next to Wood Quay. The Cathedral was build in 1038 by a Danish Viking called King Sitric Silkenbeard making it Dublins oldest Building. The Church includes a medieval crypt and includes the Tomb of Strongbow, leader of the Normans. The Cathedral is right beside Dublinia and the two combined give an interesting insight into Viking Ireland.

Abbey Theatre

The Abbey Theatre was founded in 1903 by WB Yeats and Lady Augusta Gregory. The aim of the Theatre is to promote Irish writers and Artists. The theatre has recently held productions of classics like the Playboy of the Western World by J.M. Synge and The Plough and the Stars by Sean O'Casey.

Dublin Zoo

Dublin Zoo is one of Dublins top visitor attractions and is located in the Phoenix Park. The zoo is located close to Heuston Train Station making it very accessible. Visitors can explore the African Plains, which is home to giraffes, zebras, hippos, rhinos, cheetahs, lions and chimpanzees.
